Requirements for joining the CAC in 2023
Nationality Candidates must be Nigerian nationals.
Age Candidates for trade positions must be between 18 and 25, except drivers and assistant chaplains/assistant imams, who must be between 18 and 28.

Height Candidates must be at least 1.66 meters (5.4 feet) in height for men and 1.63 meters (5.3 feet) for women.
Honors must submit proof of their background, such as diplomas and distinctions, when applying to be athletes.
O’level, The minimum requirement for applicants is five credits from WASSCE, NECO, GCE, or NABTEB, including English and Mathematics, taken in no more than two sittings.
Passing the SSCE, NECO, GCE, or NABTEB is a requirement for applicants who want to become drivers. In addition to having a Trade Test Certificate, applicants must have a credit in English.
Legality Candidates are not permitted to belong to secret societies, cults, or fraternities.
